“Burning dreams I ”

“Burning dreams I” is one of my series of art under the name“Burning”.

It was part of my first group show “(Dis) Ordered Nature & Dreams”.

I was experimenting with Mixed Media, gold leaves, print-making, and collage. After I created layers and layers of trippy, dreamy base, I used recycled glass rubber to created hundreds of mono-print on a small piece of rice paper to represent dreams with Chinese traditional Mineral pigment “Cinnabar （朱砂）to color the edge of those dreams.

It is a Taoism world combined with nature, landscape, flowing, dreams, and a sense of curiosity. An Eastern “Wonderland of Alice”, isn’t it?
